About
Hi, I am a Senior Staff Researcher at Palo Alto Networks. I completed my Ph.D. degree at George Mason University, working with Prof. Kun Sun. Before that, I obtained my master’s degree in Signal and Information Processing and bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. I had research scientist intern at Visa and applied scientist intern at Amazon Lab126.
My research interests lie primarily in the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer security. My Ph.D. research focuses on the mitigation of attack surfaces in open-source software (software security), voice recognition systems (biometric security), and public AI services (AI security). I also have research experience on computer vision/image analysis. My papers appear in IEEE S&P, ACM CCS, NDSS, USENIX Security, etc.
I like hiking and photography. I enjoy getting in touch with the natural world and clearing my mind.
