About
Dr. Shu Wang is a Sr. Staff Researcher at Palo Alto Networks. He received his Ph.D. from George Mason University, under the supervision of Prof. Kun Sun. Prior to that, he earned a master’s degree in Computer Vision and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He interned as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Lab126 and a Researcher at Visa Inc.
His research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and computer security, mitigating attack surfaces across key domains, including AI, networks, software, and biometrics. He authored one book in Springer Nature, published multiple papers in IEEE S&P, ACM CCS, USENIX Security, and NDSS, and wrote 3 articles for Unit 42 Threat Research. He serves as reviewers for top-tier security conferences & journals.
